The good intentions for the new year have borne fruit. Together with my partner, we have exam preparation for our change from the Hamburg University of Kiel now trying to explore and find a place for learning together.
The beginning of the day was planned for 9:00 clock. However, since my partner slept and then also missed the train, it was rather clock 13:00. The nice lady at the information desk told us then that we applied the same procedure and our library cards issued directly. A quiet place to study, we found, however. Students everywhere! Still looking for a learning space we explored the stability and then finally sat down in the second floor into a group study room with approximately 100 seats, which was hot, stuffy, full and loud. After about three quarters of an hour we gave up, because we could not focus, it was much too hot and I got a headache.
We therefore decided the day in a nearby campus suite (all good things come from Kiel!) And hope that we will find a quiet place. Tomorrow is a new start, hopefully on time and with more success.
After the impression gained today, it is no pleasure in Hamburg to study law and I do not regret having gone to Kiel. If anyone knows a nice quiet spot somewhere at the Hamburg University, I am pleased with comments. It need not be in the right house or directly be on campus.
Update: meantime do have a job. By our second day I report here.
